PGS Instructional Video
Before using the Portal Gravity System, please watch the instructional video below.
Are you getting as much out of your MRI scanner as you can? Conventional MRI and CT exams scan patients in the recumbent position thus negating the effects of gravity on the spine. The Portal Gravity System which is 510[k] FDA approved and compatible with all commercially available standard MRI and CT systems, places an axial load on the spine during routine imaging procedures. This simulates the upright position providing additional valuable information and may reveal occult pathology and shows the true severity of the problem.
The FDA-approved Portal Gravity system provides diagnostic confidence with MRI/CT. The device simulates the standing position, so a patient can be assessed while their symptoms are most pronounced. Benefiting patients with degenerative back conditions> Including sciatica, disc herniations, spinal stenosis, neurogenic claudication and intraspinal synovial cysts.
Stand out in a crowded marketplace by enhancing your service to high volume referrers: physiatrists, spine surgeons, chiropractors, attorneys, and other referrers of l-spine MRI.
Stand Up MRI | Portal Gravity System |
---|---|
Expensive stand alone MRI | Use with existing system |
Permanent low field MRI (Max .6 Tesla) | Use with high field MRI (Including 3 Tesla) |
Expensive to operate | Low cost to operate |
Weight-bearing MRI in a traditional high field MRI capitalizes on the benefits of stand-up MRI without sacrificing imaging quality or causing excess patient movement inherent standing patients.
